About HXT drill pipe: HXT is Hunting's patented high-torque drill pipe for HDD rigs, built as the upgrade to HIWS1. It has a larger bore for more fluid flow, shot-blasted threads for longer connection life, internal and external reinforcement, and pin and box protectors. It keeps the HIWS1 connection interface, so it works with existing equipment.
