StraightLine® 30 ton (60,000 lb) pullback swivel, 6″ body, clevis x clevis (part 1501-300-07). StraightLine swivels, first introduced to the HDD market in 1991, use angular contact bearings that handle both thrust and radial loads, with two bearings positioned in the pushback direction, and a sealing system of one shaft seal and two lip seals with steel reinforcing rings to keep out soil and drilling fluid. Runs behind the reamer to keep the product pipe from rotating during pullback.
